The W225, W226, and W227 series lamps have a universal mounting design and can be installed on either the left or right side of the vehicle. Thanks to their simple yet modern construction, they meet homologation requirements for both vertical and horizontal mounting.

In contrast, the W228 lamps, due to their distinctive design with a centrally positioned triangular reflector, require separate left and right units. Standard horizontal mounting is used.

W226, W227, and W228 lamps are available in two mounting variants: using two M6 screws, or two/four self-tapping screws via specially placed holes in the lamp body. Furthermore, the W228 series is available in 3 connection versions: via a standard cable, or a 5-pin or 7-pin connector.

Some lamps utilize a neon-effect light, where light diffused through the lens creates a pleasant, soft glow instead of distinct light points.
Additionally, lamps with a rear fog light function are available in two variants: with a red or transparent lens. Each lamp is hermetically sealed—both as a complete unit and as individual modules—with an IP6K9K rating confirming protection against dust and moisture. Every lamp also meets all relevant regulatory requirements, including electromagnetic compatibility.

The W225–W228 series lamps are voltage-universal, operating on both 12V and 24V systems. They are extremely slim and compact. These lamps are adapted for variable weather conditions and perform perfectly in temperatures from -40°C to +50°C. Individual components are manufactured from the highest quality materials, ensuring a premium finished product.

A wide range of lamps in various lighting configurations provides potential customers with a vast selection. This series allows for comprehensive vehicle lighting by combining lamps into original configurations, in accordance with UNECE Regulation No. 48 regarding the installation of lighting devices on vehicles. For example, lamps from the same or different groups can be combined (e.g., W225 + W225; W225 + W226; W226 + W226; W227 + 225, or W228 + W225) depending on the lighting functions required for the vehicle.
