The new W240 series of front, rear, and side position/marker lamps is an innovative range of lights that cast a glow onto the ground, outlining the vehicle's perimeter on the road.

Manufactured using LED technology with a modern lens featuring neon-style elements, these marker lights create a light that is pleasing to the eye while producing a unique line on the ground. The extraordinary design of the lamps combines a side position light and a front or rear position/marker light with a reflector, which is a further advantage as it increases the safety of parked vehicles.

Our W240 series lamps meet all approval requirements and have been tested for tightness, achieving an IP6K9K protection rating. WAS marker lights are electromagnetically compatible, meaning they do not emit electromagnetic interference and are resistant to it. They are also characterized by a non-polarity design, which means the lamps work correctly regardless of how the + and - cables are connected. In addition, the lamps are voltage-universal, operating in the 12V – 24V range.

For the production of this latest family of lamps, we have used the highest quality materials, which also feature increased resistance to mechanical damage and perform excellently in variable climatic conditions. The new W240 series, like all WAS lamps, was developed and manufactured in Poland.

Method of mounting lamps on the vehicle
For the modern W240 series lamps, we have developed a new method of mounting the lamps on the vehicle. First, use screws to mount the base to the vehicle, and then secure the lamp into the base by pushing it in. A special latch design holds the lamp securely in the base. Traditionally, there is also an option to mount the lamps using a spacer hinge. In this case, the base with the lamp is connected to the spacer hinge.
