The new W240 series of front, rear, and side position/marker lamps is an innovative range of lamps that cast light onto the ground, outlining the vehicle's perimeter on the road.

The marker lamps are manufactured using LED technology and feature a modern lens with neon elements, creating a light that is pleasing to the eye and projects an unique line onto the ground. The extraordinary design of these lamps combines a side position light, front or rear position/marker light, and a reflector, which is an additional benefit as it increases the safety of parked vehicles.

Our W240 series lamps meet all type-approval requirements and have been tested for tightness, receiving an IP6K9K protection rating. WAS marker lamps are electromagnetically compatible, meaning they do not emit electromagnetic interference and are resistant to it. They are also characterized by the absence of polarity, meaning the lamps work correctly regardless of how the + and - cables are connected. Furthermore, the lamps are voltage-universal, operating in the 12V – 24V range.

To produce this latest family of lamps, we have used the highest quality materials, which feature increased resistance to mechanical damage and perform excellently in variable weather conditions. The new W240 series of lamps, like all WAS lamps, was designed and manufactured in Poland.

Method of mounting lamps on the vehicle

For the modern W240 series lamps, we have developed a new method of mounting them on a vehicle. First, use screws to mount the mounting base to the vehicle, and then snap the lamp into the base. The special latch design holds the lamp securely in the base. Traditionally, it is also possible to mount the lamps using a spacer hinge. In this case, we connect the mounting base with the lamp to the spacer hinge.
