Description:

The new W248 series of LED rear combination lamps, similar to the twin W247 and W249 series, features an innovative design and characteristic appearance. The new shape of the position light makes the lamps recognizable and highly visible on the road. The LED position light modules are made of a special material that hides individual light points, showing only a pleasant neon-effect glow in the shape of the light.

The lamps are available in 3-, 4-, and 5-light versions. The main characteristic feature of these lamps is the red, three-dimensional outer lens. A previously unprecedented innovation is the achievement of white reverse light through the red lens. The entire lens surface is red, allowing us to effortlessly achieve position, fog, and stop lights. We had already developed and implemented the technology to produce a yellow turn signal through a red lens in our previous lamps, so the most significant innovation here was the ability to produce white light. The combination of red position light and yellow turn signal in one area creates an amazing effect. Lamps from the W248 series are available in versions with a lower license plate illumination light and without illumination.

What's more, the red outer lens is specially sealed, mounted with 4 screws, which allows the user to replace it themselves. The outer lens is replaceable, making it fully universal; regardless of the light configuration the client chooses, it is a common component for all lamps. Each module located under the lens is hermetically sealed, so even if the outer lens is scratched, no internal component will be damaged, and no moisture or dust will get inside.

The lens and lamp housing are made of high-quality material, resistant to temperature factors and UV radiation. Furthermore, it has electromagnetic compatibility approval. It is also worth noting other available variants of W248 series lamps without a position light or with a W44 (SM1) side position light. Additionally, for lamps not equipped with a side position light or a lower license plate illumination light LPD, we use a thinner housing.

The W248 series with a triangular reflector is designed for trailers and semi-trailers.

Additionally, the lamps feature easy vehicle mounting via two M8x30 screws with a 150mm spacing.
