W68L and W68P lamps are designed for trailers, semi-trailers, and agricultural machinery.
The lamps are manufactured using electronic components. Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are used as the light source. Therefore, the lamps operate completely maintenance-free, as they do not require bulb replacement.
To our knowledge, W68L and W68P lamps are the first in the world to incorporate all combined lights within a reflector device and its dimensions. This allows the lamps to be used in all trailers, as their size does not limit them. These lamps caused a sensation at the automotive fair in Frankfurt in autumn 2010.
The light source's lifespan is approximately 100,000 hours of continuous operation. Additional savings result from the fact that the LED light-emitting diodes consume very little electricity compared to traditional light sources, which can undoubtedly affect the fuel consumption levels in vehicles and thus positively impact the reduction of environmental pollution.
Functionally comparable, traditional (incandescent) lamps consume an average of 100 W of energy, while LED combined lamps consume an average of up to max. 5W (summing the power of individual lights, e.g., the position light at 12V is 0.5W). The lamp and optical systems were designed by our company. As our design, the solutions used in the lamp have been submitted to the Patent Office.
The new lamps are completely maintenance-free and characterized by ease of installation. The electronic components used completely eliminate the possibility of lamp damage caused by reversed wire polarity. Months of research conducted in extremely varying temperature, humidity, and shock resistance conditions have given us certainty about the unparalleled quality of the new lamps.
The lamps have been tested at the Motor Transport Institute in Warsaw for compliance with UNECE Regulations.
Individual LED combined lamps W68L and W68P have obtained homologation from the Ministry of Infrastructure.
General product characteristics include:
