Automotive LED projectors primarily provide a lot of light, with a well-focused, non-blinding light beam for road use. The advanced optics of these projectors (especially bi-LED), the curved cut-off shield, and the entire chipset used internally create a well-distributed and wide light beam.
With the factory-mounted clear lens, the light cut-off is nice and sharp.

If you don't have space or simply the patience to deal with all the necessary equipment that powers, for example, HID-based systems (xenon kit), this is a sufficient reason to look into LED projectors.
