Description:

The new W248 series of LED rear combination lamps, similar to the twin W247 and W249 series, features an innovative design and characteristic appearance. The new shape of the position light makes the lamps recognizable and highly visible on the road. The LED position light modules are made of a special material that hides individual light points, showing only a pleasant, neon-like light halo.

The lamps are available in 3-, 4- and 5-function versions. The main distinguishing feature of these lamps is the red, three-dimensional outer lens. A novelty not seen before is the ability to produce a white reverse light through the red lens. The entire lens surface is red, so we easily achieved position light, fog light, and stop light. We had already developed and used the technology for obtaining a yellow turn signal light through a red lens in our earlier lamps, so the biggest innovation was precisely obtaining the white light. The combination of the red position light and the yellow turn signal light in one area creates an amazing effect. The W248 series lamps are available in versions with and without lower license plate illumination.

Furthermore, the red outer lens is specially sealed and mounted with 4 screws, allowing the user to replace it themselves. The outer lens is replaceable, making it fully universal; regardless of the light configuration the customer chooses, it is a common component for all lamps. Each module located under the lens is hermetic, so even if the outer lens is scratched, no internal element will be damaged, and no moisture or dust will get inside.

The lens and lamp housing are made of high-quality material, resistant to temperature factors and UV radiation. Furthermore, it has electromagnetic compatibility approval. It is also worth noting other available variants of the W248 series lamps without a position light or with a W44 (SM1) side position light. Additionally, for lamps not equipped with a side position light or a lower license plate illumination (LPD), we use a thinner housing.

The W248 series with a triangular reflector is designed for trailers and semi-trailers.

Additionally, the lamps feature easy installation on the vehicle via two M8x30 screws with a spacing of 150mm.
