Description:

The new series of W248 LED rear combination lamps, similar to the twin W247 and W249 series, features an innovative design and characteristic appearance. The new shape of the position light makes the lamps recognizable and highly visible on the road. The LED position light modules are made of a special material that prevents individual light points from being visible, instead showing only the shape with a pleasing, neon-effect glow.

The lamps are available in 3-, 4-, and 5-light versions. The main distinguishing feature of these lamps is the red, three-dimensional outer lens. An unprecedented innovation is the achievement of white reverse light through a red lens. The entire surface of the lens is red, so we effortlessly obtained position light, fog light, and stop light. The technology allowing for a yellow turn signal light through a red lens was already developed and used in our previous lamps, so the greatest innovation was indeed achieving white light. An amazing effect is created by combining the red position light and the yellow turn signal light in one area. W248 series lamps are available in versions with a lower license plate illumination light and without illumination.

Furthermore, the red outer lens is specially sealed and mounted with 4 screws, allowing the user to replace it themselves. The outer lens is replaceable, making it fully universal; regardless of the light configuration the customer chooses, it is a common element for all lamps. Each module located under the lens is hermetic, so even if the outer lens is scratched, no internal element will be damaged, and no moisture or dust will get inside.

The lens and lamp housing are made of high-quality material, resistant to temperature factors and UV radiation. Additionally, it has electromagnetic compatibility approval. It is also worth noting other available variants of W248 series lamps without a position light or with a W44 (SM1) side position light. Additionally, for lamps not equipped with a side position light or a lower license plate illumination light (LPD), we use a thinner housing.

The W248 series with a triangular reflector is designed for trailers and semi-trailers.

Additionally, the lamps feature easy installation on the vehicle via two M8x30 screws with a 150mm spacing.
