Description:

The new series of LED combined rear lamps W248, similar to the twin series W247 and W249, features an innovative design and characteristic appearance. The new shape of the position light makes the lamps recognizable and highly visible on the road. The LED position light modules are made of a special material thanks to which individual light points are not visible, but only a shape with a pleasant to the eye light glow with a neon effect.

The lamps are available in 3-, 4- and 5-function versions. The main distinguishing feature of these lamps is the red, three-dimensional outer lens. An unprecedented new feature is the ability to achieve white reverse light through a red lens. The entire surface of the lens is red, so we easily achieved position light, fog light, and brake light. The technology allowing for a yellow turn signal light through a red lens was already developed and used in our previous lamps, so the biggest innovation was achieving white light. An amazing effect is created by combining the red position light and yellow turn signal in one area. W248 series lamps are available in versions with a lower license plate illumination light and without illumination.

Moreover, the red outer lens is specially sealed and mounted with 4 screws, allowing the user to replace it themselves. The outer lens is replaceable, making it fully universal; regardless of the light configuration the customer chooses, it is a common element for all lamps. Each module located under the lens is hermetic, so even if the outer lens is scratched, no internal element will be damaged, and no moisture or dust will get inside.

The lens and lamp housing are made of high-quality material, resistant to temperature factors and UV radiation. Furthermore, it has electromagnetic compatibility approval. It is also worth noting other available variants of W248 series lamps without position light or with side position light W44 (SM1). Additionally, for lamps not equipped with side position light or lower license plate illumination light (LPD), we use a thinner housing.

The W248 series with a triangular reflector is designed for trailers and semi-trailers.

Additionally, the lamps feature easy installation on the vehicle via two M8x30 screws with a spacing of 150mm.
