- The lamp connection to the vehicle's electrical system must be insulated with heat-shrink tubing or insulation tape to prevent water and moisture from entering the lamp's copper wire, which could damage the electrical system. For lamps with a plug, ensure the plug is securely connected
- Do not cut the tinned wire ends
- Lamps must be installed strictly in accordance with ECE UN regulations
