A characteristic feature of W252, W252DD lamps is a red, three-dimensional outer lens, through which the white reverse light is clearly visible. Achieving a white reverse light through a red lens was an unprecedented innovation in the automotive industry. The outer lens, if necessary, is mounted and sealed in such a way that each customer will be able to replace it independently.

Furthermore, the yellow turn signal light is in an unusual configuration, as it includes not only narrow light modules on both sides of the reflector but also the upper part of the illuminated logo, together forming a “line”. The display with the logo functions as a red position light, but when the turn signal is activated, its upper line changes, producing a yellow light.

W252, W252DD lamps are available in three-, four-, and five-function versions. Additionally, depending on the variant: with additional license plate illumination, the lamp has a thicker body, while without this illumination, the lamp has a thin body.

The lamp modules are hermetically sealed, resistant to moisture and dust, which is confirmed by the IP6K9K standard. The highest quality materials used to produce individual lamp components, along with efficient and energy-saving LED diodes, ensure a long lifespan for the lamps. W252, W252DD lamps comply with all road homologation requirements regarding, among others, luminosity, color, and electromagnetic compatibility. They operate within the 12V-24V range, meaning they are voltage-universal. The lamps are resistant to UV radiation and variable weather conditions – they operate in a temperature range of +40°C to -40°C.
